• Manage dental emergencies and provide appropriate pain and infection management.
• Provide periodontal assessment and treatment, including management of gum disease.
• Provide paediatric dental assessment, preventive care, and appropriate treatment for children.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive dentistry, nutrition, and maintenance of good oral health.
• Counsel patients on treatment options and promote informed decision-making regarding their oral healthcare.
• Identify conditions requiring specialist management and facilitate appropriate referrals.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and clinical documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary patient care and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to infection prevention and control measures, clinical protocols, professional standards, and ethical requirements.
• Participate in continuous professional development, quality improvement initiatives, and hospital health programs.
• Support community and public health initiatives through oral health education and sensitization.
